With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Indians travel to Cheylin (Bird City, KS) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Cheylin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS)

The Tigers now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Idalia for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Cheyenne Wells will play a Wolves squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Briggsdale (Briggsdale, CO). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
