The Riggs Governors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Douglas Patriots to 0 in the Governors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Governors now have a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aberdeen Central for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Riggs will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Huron (Huron, SD). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-1.

The Patriots (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Hill City (Hill City, SD). The Rangers enter the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Hill City gained a win over Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 3-2, in a non-league game.
