The St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers held off the host Dutchtown Griffins volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Redstickers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benjamin Franklin for a non-league test on Friday, September 1. St. Joseph's Academy will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.

The Griffins (1-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, St. Michael was nudged by Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
