The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the East Bakersfield Blades (Bakersfield, CA) and the visiting Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA), saw East Bakersfield's volleyball squad beat Mira Monte by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, East Bakersfield upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Blades host Delano (Delano, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Delano won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lindsay (Lindsay, CA)

The Lions now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to West for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14.
