In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Stayton Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Elmira Falcons.

The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Madras (Madras, OR). The White Buffaloes come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Madras lost by Caldera (Bend, OR), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 5. Elmira will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Outlaws come into the battle with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bonanza (Bonanza, OR).
