Illinois High School Volleyball - Hoopeston over Fisher

Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Fisher Bunnies (Fisher, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cornjerkers clash with the St. Anne Cardinals (St. Anne, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Hoopeston will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Clifton Central (Clifton, IL).

With the loss, Fisher drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bunnies host Heyworth (Heyworth, IL) to clash with the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois match on Tuesday, September 5. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 3-1. Heyworth won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Clinton (Clinton, IL)
