The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Van Buren (Van Buren, AR). The Pointers come into the 5A West challenge with a 2-10 record. In their last challenge, Van Buren nudged Farmington (Farmington, AR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the Parkview Patriots (Little Rock, AR) in a 5A Central challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Vilonia will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Clinton (Clinton, AR).
