The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) and the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), saw St. Edmond's volleyball squad beat Iowa Falls-Alden by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Edmond upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Gaels host Algona (Algona, IA) to play the Bulldogs in a North Central bout on Thursday, September 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

The Cadets now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Webster City for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Iowa Falls-Alden will play a Lynx squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 7-2.
