The Rayne Wolves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Lions to 0 in the Wolves non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wolves now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sulphur for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Rayne will confront a Golden Tors team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 2-1.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Northside Christian gained a win over North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
