The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) and the visiting Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), saw Shasta's volleyball squad beat Lassen by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Shasta upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Green Valley (Henderson, NV) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Green Valley won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV)

The Grizzlies now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Modoc for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Lassen will play a Braves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Braves record now stands at 4-3.
