The Lawrence County Red Devils topped the host Shoals Christian Flame volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Red Devils now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phil Campbell for a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. Lawrence County will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-4.

The Flame (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Phillips was knocked off by Meek (Arley, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
