Illinois High School Volleyball - Lexington nudged by Pontiac

The Pontiac Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lexington Minutemen to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.

The Indians now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ottawa for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 5. Pontiac will meet a Pirates team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 10-1.

The Minutemen (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Eureka nipped Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
