The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) and the visiting Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI), saw Mount St. Charles Academy's volleyball squad beat Lincoln by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Mount St. Charles Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mounties travel to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to play the Chargers in a Division 1 - B bout on Wednesday, September 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Chariho lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI)

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Barrington for a Division 2 bout on Thursday, September 7.
