The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Linn-Mar Lions (Marion, IA) and the visiting Williamsburg Raiders (Williamsburg, IA), saw Linn-Mar's volleyball squad nip Williamsburg by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Linn-Mar upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Lions travel to West Delaware (Manchester, IA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 3-1.

The Raiders now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Burlington for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Williamsburg will play a Grayhounds squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Fairfield (Fairfield, IA). The Grayhounds record now stands at 4-4.
