The Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Newport Wildcats to 0 in the Juggernauts non-league victory on Thursday.

The Juggernauts now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixie Heights for a District 34 game on Tuesday, September 5. Lloyd Memorial will meet a Colonels team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 7-8.

The Wildcats (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Ludlow (Ludlow, KY). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Ludlow dropped by Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
