The Indians go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Madison Central lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY)

The Jaguars now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. North Laurel will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 5-0.
