The Washington Demons volleyball team (Washington, IA), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA)
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Lee (Donnellson, IA). The Hawks go into the SEI - West bout with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Central Lee was outscored by Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
The Demons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bellevue for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Washington will play a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-3.
