California High School Volleyball - Vista del Lago tips Ponderosa

August 31, 2023: Folsom, CA 95630

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) and the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), saw Vista del Lago's volleyball squad nip Ponderosa by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Vista del Lago upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Sacramento (Sacramento, CA) to play the Dragons in a Capital Athletic League bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Sacramento lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pioneer (Woodland, CA)

The Bruins now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Union Mine for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 6. Ponderosa will play a Diamondbacks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Dixon (Dixon, CA). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 4-0.
