Illinois High School Volleyball - Rosary edged by St. Francis

The St. Francis Spartans held off the host Rosary Royals volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league test on Friday, September 1. St. Francis will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

The Royals (0-3) will now prepare for their test against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, West Aurora held off Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
