In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marquette University Hilltoppers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Homestead Highlanders.
The Hilltoppers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Waukesha West (Waukesha, WI). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Highlanders meet the Franklin Sabers (Franklin, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 31. Homestead will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Sabers enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Kimberly (Kimberly, WI).
