Texas High School Football - Big Sandy prevails Winona

August 31, 2024: Winona, TX 75792

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats football squad scored a good 20-0 triumph over the Winona Wildcats.

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Como-Pickton (Como, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Como-Pickton was beaten by Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 27-8, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Winona will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Buffaloes come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 38-26 non-league win over Rains (Emory, TX).
