North Carolina High School Football - South Wake sneaks past Cabarrus Stallions

August 31, 2024: Apex, NC 27518

In Saturday's non-league match, the host South Wake Lions football squad scored a close 22-20 triumph over the Cabarrus Stallions Stallions.

The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Wake Christian Academy tipped John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 28-16, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Stallions meet the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights (Sugar Hill, GA) in a Southeastern Independent match, on Saturday, September 7. Cabarrus Stallions will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Blue Knights come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 41-0 league win over Anderson Cavaliers (Anderson, SC).
