The Emmaus Hornets edged the visiting Delaware Valley Warriors football team by a score of 32-28 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets face the Easton Area Rovers (Easton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Emmaus will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hazleton Area was edged by Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA), 40-14, in a non-league challenge.
