Waynesburg Central Raiders (Waynesburg, PA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Uniontown Red Raiders (Uniontown, PA), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Waynesburg Central moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Bentworth (Bentleyville, PA) to meet the Bearcats in a WPIAL A 2 test on Wednesday, September 4. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Red Raiders now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bentworth for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Uniontown will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-1.
