Maryland High School Football - Franklin can't hold off Westlake

Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 12-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Westlake advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to play the Patriots in a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westminster for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7.
