The Lexington Minutemen felled the host Shelby Whippets football team by a score of 32-12 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Minutemen play the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) in a challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.
The Whippets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pleasant (Marion, OH). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
