In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host William Byrd Terriers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Magna Vista Warriors.

The Terriers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Hidden Valley got by Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Magna Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
