Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the host St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), saw Glenbard South's soccer squad hold off St. Francis by a count of 1-0.

The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Royals enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Larkin tipped Sycamore (Sycamore, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 3. St. Francis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-2 non-league Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
