In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Grafton Bearcats soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 win over the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights.

The Bearcats (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars enter the Big Ten outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Lincoln by John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV), 4-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Maroon Knights confront the Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 3. Wheeling Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Seminoles enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 6-0 league loss to Caldwell (Caldwell, OH).
