Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT), 10-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Hartford moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Otter Valley (Brandon, VT) to meet the Otters in a SVL-B test on Wednesday, September 4. The Otters come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Green Wave now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Long Trail for a SVL-D test on Tuesday, September 3.
