Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) and the visiting St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), saw Marian Catholic's soccer squad hold off St. Laurence by a count of 3-2.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Joliet West (Joliet, IL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Joliet West tipped Bremen (Midlothian, IL), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
