Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY) and the visiting Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY), saw Taylor County's soccer squad hold off Mercer County by a count of 3-2.

The Cardinals (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Raiders enter the District 18 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Hart County was edged by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Titans confront the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Mercer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
