Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Montour Mercyhurst Prep

In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Montour Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers.

The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Bridgers go into the WPIAL AAA 2 outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Ambridge by West Allegheny (Imperial, PA), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Lakers play the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) in a non-league outing, on Sunday, September 1. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA).
