In Saturday's non-league contest, the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) soccer team routed the host Stroudsburg Mountaineers (Stroudsburg, PA), by a count of 6-1.

Next, the Trojans battle the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division I contest, on Tuesday, September 3. North Pocono will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA).

The Mountaineers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Trojans enter the Eastern Penn contest with a 2-0 record.
