The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) and the host Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE), observed Aquinas's softball team notch a victory over Ponca by a tally of 9-0.

The Monarchs (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE). The Cavaliers go into the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Bishop Neumann gained a win over Aquinas (David City, NE), 8-0, in a league bout.
