Colorado High School Softball - Lewis-Palmer bested by Pueblo County

August 31, 2024: Pueblo, CO 81006

The Pueblo County Hornets triumphed over the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers softball squad by a count of 13-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO) in a 4A South Central challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Pueblo County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 7-2 non-league win over La Junta (La Junta, CO).

The Rangers (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Mesa Ridge overcame Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO), 15-12, in a non-league challenge.
