The Appleton East Patriots volleyball squad (Appleton, WI), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI)

With the win, Grafton improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Black Hawks travel to Holmen (Holmen, WI) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Holmen won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Randolph (Randolph, WI)

The Patriots now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fond du Lac for a Fox Valley battle on Thursday, September 5. Appleton East will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hortonville (Hortonville, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-1.
