The Brownstown Central Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Trinity Lutheran Cougars to 1 in the Braves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Braves now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Jasper for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Brownstown Central will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Trinity Lutheran drops to 7-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Varsity Opponent (, ) to meet the in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 31.
