With the win, North Clay advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL) to face the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Rams go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Runnin' Lions now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farina South Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Cisne will face a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to New Athens (New Athens, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.
