In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Ocean Lakes Dolphins volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Collegiate Cougars.

The Dolphins (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots enter the Beach challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, First Colonial got by North Stafford (Stafford, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Monacan (Richmond, VA).
