Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cumberland County can't get by Rhea County

Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Rhea County improves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Clinton (Clinton, TN) to face the Dragons in a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 11-3. Clinton won 3-0 in their recent league test against Powell (Powell, TN)

The Jets now own a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Watertown for a AA District 7 test on Tuesday, September 3.
