With the win, Kingdom Prep Academy improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Indians now own a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Idalou for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Fort Davis will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kermit (Kermit, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-10.
