Kentucky High School Volleyball - Franklin County tips Southwestern

August 31, 2024: Somerset, KY 42503

The Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) volleyball held off the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Flyers now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Marion County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 31. Franklin County will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Larue County (Hodgenville, KY). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Southwestern drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 31. The Maroons come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Pulaski County won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY)
