Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR) and the host Gresham Gophers (Gresham, OR), observed Lebanon's volleyball team hold off Gresham by a count of 2-1.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against McKay (Salem, OR). The Royal Scots enter the 5A Mid-Willamette contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, McKay was tipped by Evergreen (Vancouver, WA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Gophers meet the Sandy Pioneers (Sandy, OR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 31. Gresham will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
