Illinois High School Volleyball - Metea Valley over Peoria Notre Dame

The Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) volleyball knocked off the visiting Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Naperville Central for a DuPage Valley bout on Saturday, August 31. Metea Valley will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Peoria Notre Dame drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Irish travel to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL) to clash with the Foxes in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 31. The Foxes come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Yorkville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL)
