The Pleasantville Trojans edged the host Montezuma Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Trojans confront the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a game, on Saturday, August 31. Pleasantville will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Warhawks go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA).
The Braves (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Gladbrook-Reinbeck nudged North Tama (Traer, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
