Texas High School Volleyball - Pflugerville Connally tips New Caney

August 31, 2024: New Caney, TX 77357

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) and the host New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX), observed Pflugerville Connally's volleyball team hold off New Caney by a count of 2-1.

The Cougars (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against South Houston (South Houston, TX). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, South Houston was tipped by King (Houston, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Conroe Tigers (Conroe, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, September 3. New Caney will attempt to move on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 7-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Spring (Spring, TX).
