The Todd County Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Newell Irrigators to 1 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lead-Deadwood for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Todd County will play a Golddiggers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Belle Fourche (Belle Fourche, SD). The Golddiggers record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Newell drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Irrigators travel to Custer (Custer, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Custer lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Douglas (Box Elder, SD)
