In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host San Jacinto Christian Academy Patriots volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Olton Mustangs.

The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Vega (Vega, TX). The Longhorns come into the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Vega beat Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Wellman-Union Wildcats (Wellman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Olton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Abernathy (Abernathy, TX).
