In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Rockford Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the West Hancock Eagles.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Riceville was nudged by Waukon (Waukon, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. West Hancock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
